Use Of PVC Free Plastisol

The demand of fashionable and standard textiles has given way to huge markets both in domestic market as well as in international market. Plastisol is used for industrial purposes. It is significantly used in textile industries. This is majorly used as an ink in PVC free promotional liner for screen printing on the textiles. Plastisol is used as an ink for printing designs on the garments and fabrics and are very useful for printing graphics or opaque dark graphics. The plastisol ink is not soluble. This plastisol ink has proved that it is very important in textile industry. It is also long lasting and a quality product.

The advantages of plastisol inks are quite significant. The ink is not soluble in the water. This type of ink is a composition of PVC particles which are found to be suspended in the emulsion of plasticizes. They don’t dry if left for extended time in the screens. The PVC free plastisol screens are used for screen printing on the textiles while manufacturing. There is no need of washing the screen after printing and the best advantage is that the plastisol ink can be utilized without the help of running water. They are more utilized for printing on colored or textured fabrics. There are few disadvantages like the plastisol ink doesn’t dry but instead it needs to be cured. The curing procedure is carried out with the help of flash dryer or to reduce the cost the cooking oven. The plastisol doesn’t soak in the garment threads which give the print a plasticized and raised texture and hard feel. Other inks give softer feel. It is also used in crown cap lining compound.
